How to use the Word Sorter
Paste your list into the box above, choose how you want it sorted, select the output format, then press Sort List. The utility can work with one word per line, a comma-separated list, or a space-separated list.
Use it when you need to clean up messy text, organise lists of words, remove duplicate entries, or reformat content so it is easier to read, copy, and reuse.
Common uses
Word sorting is useful for tidying notes, preparing keyword lists, cleaning exports, organising word banks, and restructuring copied text for use in documents, spreadsheets, or other tools.
Alphabetical sorting
Arrange lists from A to Z or Z to A when you need a clean, predictable order that is easier to scan.
Duplicate removal
Enable Remove duplicates when you want to keep only one copy of each word or item in the final list.
Output formatting
Choose the output format that best fits the next step in your workflow, whether that is pasting into a document, loading into another tool, or copying into a spreadsheet or form.
Cleaning unstructured text
Paste rough or inconsistent text to turn it into a more organised list that is easier to work with and review.
